Atom Developments

Web Site Design:

Web site design is the specialty of Atom Developments. Our origins go back to a company formed in 2004, (WashTech) composed of members—David Kerchner, Ben Kerchner, Jarek Reihner, and Troy Jackson. During the summer of 2004, WashTech created a web site, free of charge, for Washington Community Arts and Cultural Center. After helping create the web site, though, Troy Jackson left Wash Tech to pursue work in his Christian band.

The next summer, we began work on the Citizens Library web site, charging them $2,000 to create georgesdoors.org. Ben and David Kerchner held the responsibility of layout and photography, while Jarek Reihner was the graphic designer. Although this project started out great, a major employee of the library working with us resigned, delaying the project and further canceling it.

Shortly after, WashTech discontinued working as a team and each member was assigned a web site to work on. This was basically the end for WashTech, since none of us used the name anymore. Ben Kerchner is currently managing the WashArts web site, and David Kerchner has created a web site for Communities that Care and is also managing it.

With the loss of WashTech, Atom Developments has formed. We use tools such as Dreamweaver, Frontpage, and Photoshop to create the layout for web sites. Other tools such as Flash and Fireworks are used to create graphics to place in the layout. All web sites are designed professionally; you will not be disappointed.
